IC Capture and IC Capture.AS can perform de-bayering. You just need to go to device menu and select 'Debayer'.

However, IC Capture does not have as many de-bayering algorithms as AVIRAW. AVIRAW implements almost all of them. Currently, it is not planned to add more de-bayering functionality to IC Capture.AS.

We are going to contact the author of AVIRAW to discuss the possibility of fully supporting The Imaging Source astronomy cameras. We have already successfully does this with RegiStax.

I have both the DMK mono and bayer cameras and they are fine products.

A bit of consumer feedback: The DBK is capable of very good planetary work. But the end user who is not a programmer (like myself) would benefit greatly from bundled software that performs the same debayering functions as AVIRAW. AVIRAW will not work with raw DBK captures on some PC's without additional codecs.

Thanks for your attention.
