Loving The DMK Camera

Tim Easterday has again blogged about his work with his DMK 21AF04.AS.

He describes how be recently took 22 AVI files of the Moon. At the time, the Moon was only 3.6 days old and consequently represented an attractive crescent next to Venus. He proceeded to process the AVIs in Registax and saved them as TIFF files. On completion, he opened the singular TIFF files in Photoshop and pasted them together to create the magnificent mosaic image.

One comment in his blog about which we were particularly delighted:

I am pretty happy with the result and I am really loving the DMK camera.
(our emphasis)

Thank’s for the DMK love, Tim :-)

Solar Images Captured With DMK 31AF03.AS

Andreas Murner at Teleskop-Service (one of our German resellers) sent us a link to his web site today that contains a number of solar images that he has recently captured using his DMK 31AF03.AS.

He writes (translated from German):

On the following page, you can see my latest solar images. They were captured with the DMK 31AF03.AS astronomy camera, mounted on various hardware and at various wavelengths (393nm, 540nm, 656nm).

The image to the right is one that immediately caught our attention.

Again, Andreas’ work is a great example of the results that can be achieved with The Imaging Source astronomy cameras.

A big thanks goes out to Andreas for sharing his spectacular photos with the astronomy cameras community.
