Efrain Morales wrote to me yesterday to announce that one of his images (below, click to enlarge) will be featured as Editors’ Choice in Sky & Telescope magazine.
The photo of Jupiter with Red Jr coming into view was captured with The Imaging Source FireWire camera DMK 21AF04. LRGB image at 40 second each channel at 1/30th second at 30 fps:

We congratulate Efrain for his published image. Keep up the good work.

Oliver Pettenpaul of astro-imaging.de fame has published a very comprehensive review of The Imaging Source DMK 21AF04.AS.
He writes:
The DMK 21AF04.AS is great value for money and a good performer for solar system imaging. Many top planetary imagers use the cam successfully, there’s no bad surprise in the camera’s behaviour.
[...]
The camera comes with a good and practical software package which is not too common for other cameras of this segment.
[...]
The camera is highly recommended to solar system imagers looking for a solid and well known performer who don’t want to invest in the range of 1000€.
He splits his review into the following sections:
1. Introduction
2. DMK 21AF04.AS Overview
3. DMK 21AF04.AS Software
4. DMK 21AF04.AS Example Captures
5. Resume
Thank you, Oliver, for taking the time to review the DMK 21AF04.AS for the astronomy cameras community.

On page 111 of the August 2007 edition of the German language magazine Sterne und Weltraum, one of our German resellers, Teleskop-Service has a third of a page advert, advertising our astronomy cameras.

Translated, the text reads:
[The] Imaging Source CCD Cameras
Typically, “The Imaging Source” manufactures CCD cameras for industrial applications. Now, however, these professional cameras have been overhauled for amateur astronomy. Currently, the cameras have a FireWire connector, which permits very fast data transfer.
All models are available in three versions; each one with a different CCD. The cameras are available with a monochrome CCD (DMK), a normal color CCD (DFK) and a color CCD without integrated IR cut filter (DBK).

Fabio of Sao Carlos, Brazil, (AKA cyberplocos) has recently posted some planetary, lunar and deep sky photos that he captured using his DMK 21AF04.AS and DBK 21AF04.AS astronomy cameras.
Below is a photo of his ten inch Newton telescope and The Imaging Source astronomy camera, use to capture the published images:

He has published a great number of photos; two of which are shown below:
