Christian Arsidi: The Lunar Specialist

Christian Arsidi, who is based in Paris, France is known as one of the best planetary astro-photographers in France. He is particularly interested in taking absolutely spectacular images of the Moon.

Last week, Christian took the trouble of sending us some of his masterpieces. He captured the following images with his monochrome astronomy camera DMK 41AF02:

    Great and very impressive images.
    Would be nice to learn a bit more about the instrument they were taken with and processing techniques.

    Thanks for your question! I am certain that you are not the only one wondering this.

    Christian use the following equipment to capture the images that my colleague, Jonathan, published above: C14 telescope (355 mm), 2x Barlow, red filter, DMK 41AF02 and post-acquisition processing in “iris”.
