Southern Highlands Of The Moon
Mick Hyde wrote to us at the weekend, submitting the following image of the Moon’s Southern Highlands, which he captured on August 23, 2008 at 03:30 (click to zoom):
The photo was taken using a C9.25 telescope and 2.5x Televue Powermate with a red filter and was post-processed in Registax and Photoshop CS3.
The mosaic comprises of 23 singular images, captured with his DMK 21AF04.AS telescope camera.
