Apart from maintaining excellent quality of its astro-imaging products, The Imaging Source is constantly focusing on customer experience, including price sensitivity.
DxK 41 series of Astronomy Cameras has the highest resolution, i.e. 1280 x 960 pixels, among the complete line, but its price does not remain the top anymore. Since four weeks ago, The Imaging Source has reduced its price to the same level as DxK 31 series.
No matter which camera you are using, we are glad to see more beautiful astronomy images taken with it!

Here is a beautiful picture of Mercury taken by Torsten Lietz, one of our German astronomy amateurs. The info at the bottom of the image is pretty clearly and probably easy to comprehend even if you do not speak German.

This mosaic image depicts the region of Aristoteles and Eudoxus craters on the northern hemisphere of the moon. Its author, Italian astronmy amateur Alberto Mayer, has been photographing with DMK 31AF03.AS astronomy camera for quite a period. As a matter of fact, many of the great pictures on this blog come from Alberto.

Details about this image are included at the bottom.
Grazie Alberto!
