Jupiter Animation

Joel Warren, an astronomy amateur based in Texas, USA, made the following Jupiter animation last month. The animation gives us a remarkable view of the new scar near the south pole and the shadow of Callisto, the second largest moon of Jupiter.

Here is what he wrote in the email:

I made this animation from the 23rd of this month showing the impact on Jupiter.  The shadow of Callisto is seen on center disc.  Took it with my 8 inch SCT and DBK 21AF04.AS here in Amarillo, TX.

Thank you Joe for the wonderful work!
